Behold.
Our Christmas card photo this year.
I know they're my kids and everything, but they really do take my breath away.
On motherhood, reclaiming myself, two gorgeous daughters, one hanging out on the spectrum, one ruling the playground, and everything in between...

Gotta be the great gene pool!
Seasonal greetings!
Yep, good genes tell all the time! They look **so** innocent in this picture! How's you do that?? ;-)
They look like good, serviceable kids to me. But why is it that moms always like the kids posed, idle, as you have shown.
Dads prefer to see them photographed in harness doing useful work. Lugging the Christmas tree out of the woods, for example.
That's because they are simply breathtaking. Merry, merry!
Just beautiful
Precious Sisters, to be exact.
John that was so funny...
John,
You are such a rapscallion.
Their Dad would prefer pics of them lugging trees and doing hard labor, of course, but as we live in a metropolitan city, the best we can do is have them carry our cardboard cappuccino cups around as we select a tree from a lot.
xo
Gorgeous! Did you take the photo at home or at a studio?
Gretchen - Ha! We took this shot in my bedroom in about 2 minutes. We used to dress them up and stage shots and do lighting - but Miss M used to cry and freak out. Now it's so easy and low-stress for everyone - and Miss M is so cool about it - it makes the old days seem so far away. I guess that's what makes the photo so sweet for me.
They are beautiful!
Those are some lovely girls you've got there. The expressions kill me...so, I don't know...smart and humorous and happy. Yay for you. Every year brings new joys. Well done, chica.
