We did it.
By the time you read this, Miss M will be hard at work. On her first day.
In her new school.
She'd like you to see her in her new uniform.
And we'd like to thank you for all of your support and good intentions.
We did it.
There is so much that I could write about, with these emotions welling up in my chest.
But she's so much more eloquent.
At dinner tonight:
You know Mom, I have to say something about how I feel about my new school. You know that movie The Little Mermaid, the one I used to like when I was little?
I feel exactly the way Ariel felt when she used to wish she had human legs, but was stuck underwater. Remember how badly she wanted to dance on land?
Mom. I feel like I finally got my legs.

No, you're right. You couldn't say it better than that. Good luck on the first day, Miss M. I can't wait to hear all about it!
I couldn't be more thrilled for all of you, but especially for Miss M.
You dance with those new legs Miss M, dance all around that school, and then dance right around the world.
Congratulations Miss M! Enjoy your new legs!!!!!

Oh, I'm so happy for Miss M. She's deserves a school filled with people who appreciate her, and it sounds like you found it.
Kudos to you, Drama Mama, for making this happen (by sheer willpower). Roxie and Miss M are lucky to have you.
Love it.
I'm so happy to hear that she got into the school and that she is so excited for her new adventure!
I am a relatively new reader of your blog, but have already lost my heart to that girl of yours. Reading this post made me weepy with joy. Bravo to you both!
You did it! I am cheering her on with tears in my eyes. I'm so proud of you, DM. Yes. Does DM also stand for deliberate manifestation. I think so.
God, she is so precious.
Wahoo!!!!!! I am so happy for you guys. Her uniform looks adorable on her! I love school uniforms. Too cute! Please let us know how it goes. What a dream come true. I wish we had a dream school here. I really do.
O drama mama? call me - Your friend at the Family Room has my digits; so happy our kids will be at Dream School in the SAME CLASSROOM next year. Mine is Miss A and I am sure she and Miss M will be great friends. Can't wait to make your proper acquaintance. Heard Miss M had a wonderful first day.
Blessings to Miss M. :)
It must be wonderful for you to know that each day as she wlaks out the door, she will be feeling as though she can dance.
Congratulations to you both.
I love this and everything about it. Totally. Dude, you're inspirational in your own right.
She is beaming in that picture, and she should be. This is so wonderful for her and for all of you. She so deserves this, I am just so happy for her. It is a very, very good thing.
XOXO
I've been here a few times before (via Carrie and Michelle) and now I've caught up with the last month. Beautiful post! Beautiful unfolding happening here. Love your style, your writing. I am in love with your kids, both of them.
Thank you for sharing everything here.
Thank you, all.
I've been crazed with my show, but I pop in to read comments from all of you, and it warms my heart.
Miss M is in heaven - she finished her third day yesterday - it was pizza day, and they had a special performance of "Melodies from China". She's had Art and Drama, and doesn't want to leave after care.
She asked to wear her uniform today.
It's Saturday.
God does listen.
Thank you for all of your sweet, sustaining energy.
And you newbies - Jess, Poopsie, M, Matthew's Mom, and Wishful - welcome and thank you for stopping by. I need to do some blog trolling - as soon as I get through the show!
FANTASTIC!!! Oh my goodness, congrats! Mazel tov, kiddo! And a huge sigh of relief for you, Mom. :)
What fabulous news to read after being away for a bit. Congratulations to all of you! K.
oops, almost forgot: you and your blog are mentioned on my blog again. Is it any wonder?? :)
